This semester I bought a season ski pass to Schweitzer. If you went through the Gonzaga Ski Club, we were able to get a huge discount on the pass. If you go to the mountain three times, you already make the pass worth it. This is the fourth week of this semester and I have already been skiing five times.
While I live in San Diego, I have grown up skiing. My family would go to Big Sky, Montana annually. We have cousins who live there so it made it easy for us to head up there. Since I have played collegiate soccer, I had to take a break from skiing. Our coaches were never fans of players who ski due to the risk of injury. I respected their decisions and haven’t skied since I came to college. Now that I have finished my senior season, I am now able to ski. I have been pretty reckless and have been trying new tricks and jumps. It has been super fun and I enjoy going up every weekend.
