This week’s agenda

This is the week of April 11. Yesterday was Easter. My friends and I went up to Schweitzer to get one last ski in this season. The mountain closed yesterday so ski season is officially over. I had a great time skiing this winter and definitely got my money’s worth with my ski pass. One of our friends actually got hurt yesterday. The snow wasn’t the best and our skis kept getting stuck. Our friend was trying to go off a jump but his skis got stuck and he ejected from them, flew, and fell as his feet practically hit his head. His back was in a lot of pain and he wasn’t able to ski anymore. It has been so fun skiing with friends since I grew up going with my family. Other than yesterday’s skiing, my friends and I didn’t do much for Easter. On the way up to the mountain, my friend and I went to mass in Sandpoint and then met up with the of the people on the mountain. Since it was Easter yesterday, we have no school on Monday. I plan to get my life together and be productive. I have a few errands to run and go to the grocery store. I have some work I need to catch up on and I need to find time to get a workout in. My housemates and I also decided to have a mini Easter evening since we didn’t get that on Easter. Tuesday looks like a normal school day except this day I have class from 9-12pm and then 3-8pm. It is only on Tuesdays, but these days are definitely long. I usually don’t get much homework done or even a workout sometimes since most of the day is spent in the classroom. As we get closer to the weekend, I am actually going home to San Diego for a family wedding. My cousin is getting married so I am heading home on Thursday. I am super excited for this wedding because our extended family has not been all together since before COVID. We live all over the US so there aren’t many times we are all together. Some of my cousins have had kids in the time we’ve all been apart so I am super excited to meet them. The wedding is for my only girl cousin so that’s exciting! The wedding is right on the bay and the weather is looking pretty warm this weekend. I also get to see my sisters. We haven’t all been together since Christmas. One sister lives in Seattle and the other lives in Minneapolis. We are super close – we have always gotten along. The oldest sister is 24 years old, the other is 23 years old, and I just turned 22 years old. They both went home this past weekend for Easter but I didn’t. I have gotten huge fomo (fear of missing out) this past weekend. It’s funny, I tend to get more fomo from my sisters than I do with my friends.

Anyways, I am looking forward to this week, especially the weekend. I am excited to go home but also going to miss being here with my friends. As graduation is coming up, every weekend is valuable time and it’s hard to leave. However, I know I will have tons of fun with my family.
